The Lore of the Lure
Sure, we like fishing on the lake, but nothing beats the challenge of pulling cutthroat trout from mountain streams and rivers. We know that because grandpa taught us, just like his dad taught him. Great Grandpa knew exactly what kind of fishing lure to use, too! It needs to be small and nimble enough to maneuver through the river rocks without snagging, flashy enough to coax leery fish from their hidey holes, and tough enough to keep them hanging on.
We still live by his simple rule: Use the right lure and you’ll catch fish.
Years ago, Grandpa’s spinner always out-fished everything else in his tackle box, but then it just... vanished from the stores. He wasn’t about to settle for some cheap alternative, so he set out to recreate it himself. What started as a hunt for a forgotten favorite turned into years of tinkering—swapping blades, testing hooks, and logging more hours on the riverbank than he could count. The result is a modern version of a proven classic spinning lure. We've upgraded the parts while staying true to the vintage lure design that hooked so many fish in the first place.

Grandpa’s fishing lure has that timeless design we all grew up with, but built a bit tougher for today. Our signature spinning lure is a real workhorse, combining a solid copper blade with a premium red laser hook and stainless steel swivels that won't quit on you.
Whether you’re working a river, a lake, or a small mountain stream, this spinner kicks out the kind of flash and vibration that coaxes aggressive fish into striking.
