Grandpa’s Policies
ShippingWhen you place an order with Grandpa’s Hookers, LLC, your gear may arrive in two separate packages because we use different distributors for our handmade lures and merchandise. If you order both a lure and a shirt, do not worry if the lures show up first; your custom-printed gear is being made to order and will be right behind them.
Our signature handmade lures are packed and shipped directly from the family workshop in Spanish Fork, Utah. Lures are shipped within three business days. We generally ship via USPS Ground Advantage, which should have your package in your hands two to five days after it leaves ours.
Custom printed apparel and merchandise are sent directly from our distributor. Merch is generally printed 4-6 business days after your order and shipping takes another 4-6 business days to get that sweet gear to you.
Handmade DisclaimerEach spinner is hand crafted with the kind of care you would expect from people who would rather be knee-deep in a canyon creek than anywhere else. Because our lures are built by hand and not popped out of a giant machine in a factory, slight variations in construction and materials are expected. We do not view these as flaws, but rather as proof of a "modern version of a proven classic" that was built by human hands.
Returns & ExchangesWe build our lures to be dependable and honest, and we expect the same from the folks who fish with them. As a small business, we only accept exchanges for items that arrive damaged or defective. These requests must be processed within 30 days of receipt. All items must be in their original, unused condition, as we cannot take back a lure that has already spent a day on the water. If your hooker shows up with a defect that happened on our end, please send a clear photo of the defect along with your order number to grandpashookers@gmail.com so we can look it over and make it right.
Printed apparel and merchandise are made to order, returns and exchanges for size, color, or buyer’s remorse aren’t accepted. If the print on your shirt makes you feel like you’re wearing drunk goggles (it happens), snap a pic and send it and your order number to grandpashookers@gmail.com. We will have our distributor shoot you another one.
Sustainability PromiseWe love the river as much as you do, so we are committed to minimizing waste through responsible packaging choices whenever possible. As a startup, we are currently using up our existing supply of conventional shipping materials to be practical and reduce waste, but our goal is to transition to 100% eco-friendly packaging as we grow.
Privacy & SecurityYour personal information is treated with the same respect we give a secret fishing hole, which means we are not sharing your info, period. We will never sell your information to a glossy catalog company or anyone else. The only ways your information will ever be used is to ensure your goods get to your door and to send you our email updates if you opt in to it. Your information will only be shared with our printer and shippers.
